Fresh Whole Kampong Chicken

Kampong chickens (甘榜鸡) are free-range chickens raised on farms or in a controlled environment. It is known for having lean, flavorful meat with higher protein-to-fat ratio as compared to conventionally raised chickens. Kampong chicken breeders use natural feeds without the use of antibiotics or chemical growth promoters.  

Kampong chickens are usually characterized by the golden yellow skins, though some may have white skin. The skin color is due largely to a combination of generic factors and diet. Yellow-skinned kampong chickens are often fed with corn that imparts a yellow tone to the chicken's skin and meat, while white-skinned kampong chickens may be fed on a diet consisting of wheat and cereals. The meat contains vitamins B complex and niacin, which is essential for healthy cells and metabolism and minerals such as magnesium, potassium, phosphorus and zinc.

We offer a variety of sizes to suit the individual's needs - from small, medium, large and extra large.

A small size Kampong chicken weighs about 900g to 1 kg. 

A medium size Kampong chicken weighs about 1.4 kg to 1.5 kg. 

A large size Kampong chicken weighs about 1.6 kg to 1.7 kg. 

An extra large size Kampong chicken weighs about 1.7 kg to 1.8 kg.
