'Ah Shui Fresh Poultry Supplier' was founded by my dad, Chua S.L, nicknamed as 'Ah Shui'. The original stall was at Lim Tua Tow wet market, located at the junction of Lim Tua Tow road and Teck Chye Terrace, where he stayed for about 10 years and became a familiar face trusted by the locals. 

In the early 1990s, the government was phasing out live slaughter of poultry at wet markets, with the intention to develop Lim Tua Tow wet market and its surrounding area. Taking the opportunity, Ah Shui shifted his business to the current 'Kovan Market & Food Centre' in 1994, where he had remained ever since. Throughout the years, Ah Shui is committed to provide the freshest poultry to his customers.

What is the purpose of this website as I saw from the main image banner that you have a physical stall in Singapore?

This website exists due to the many requests of our loyal customers, who wish to continue enjoying the freshness of our poultry, even at times when they are not able to come personally to the stall.

The website platform is dedicated to serve you with the same fresh poultry, but delivered directly to you at the comfort of your own home. You can now focus your time on doing things that matter and are more important to you such as spending quality time with your loved ones.

By what time do I need to place my order for the day?

Paid orders that come in from MONDAY TO SATURDAY BEFORE 6 P.M. will be processed for earliest next day delivery (excludes Monday) or based on your selected delivery date.

Paid orders that come in from MONDAY TO SATURDAY AFTER 6 P.M. will be processed for earliest next following day delivery (excludes current day/Monday) or based on your selected delivery date.

All paid orders that come in on SUNDAY (full day) will be delivered earliest on Tuesday or based on your selected delivery date.

Please note that we DO NOT deliver on MONDAY.

Kindly adhere to the above day/time for paid order, so that we can process your order for delivery according to the next earliest delivery day or based on your selected delivery date.

What is the delivery fee?

Minimum Online Order: S$40.00

Orders ABOVE S$80.00 - FREE Delivery

Orders at S$80.00 and below - S$10.00 Delivery Fee

Why does 'shipping method' reflects that 'shipping is not available' when I checkout?

Please meet the minimum purchase of S$40.00 in order to allow the 'shipping method' to reflect the delivery address and delivery fee (if any).

What happens after I have checkout and paid for my orders?

A confirmation email will be sent to your inbox upon receival of your order and payment. Do check your spam inbox if you did not receive the confirmation email.

Once we have received your order in the system, we will process your order for either earliest next day delivery (excludes Monday) or based on your selected delivery date.

When will I get my delivery order?

Once you have placed your paid order, we will process your order for earliest next day delivery (excludes Monday) or based on your selected delivery date.

All paid orders that come in on SUNDAY (full day) will be delivered earliest on Tuesday or based on your selected delivery date.

Kindly note that there are NO deliveries on MONDAY.

The standard delivery time is between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m, from Tuesday to Sunday.

As these are fresh poultry, do ensure that someone is at home to receive the order and to keep the fresh poultry immediately into the fridge/freezer.

How is my order packed?

We will pack your order in a cooler bag with an extra pack of ice to guarantee that your order stays chilled during delivery till you receive your order at home.

The cooler bag will be sealed with a cable tie to ensure that only you or your designated member can open the order.

Kindly make sure that there is someone at home to receive your order so that the fresh poultry can be immediately stored into the fridge/freezer.

How should I store my fresh poultry?

We take utmost care to ensure that your orders are delivered fresh and chilled to you.

Once you've received your order, please do the following if you:

1) Intend to use the poultry on the SAME DAY - place the poultry at the back of the fridge compartment. This is to ensure consistent chill temperature to keep your poultry fresh till you are ready to use them.

2) DO NOT intend to use the poultry on the same day - place them in the freezer compartment.

If stored properly, you may store the poultry for a few weeks in the freezer compartment.

However, we strongly recommend and encourage you to use your fresh poultry within one to two weeks to enjoy the full nutritional value of the poultry.

What happens if I did not receive my complete order?

We take the greatest care and due diligence to prepare your order correctly before delivering it to you.

However, if you do encounter a lack in your order, please contact us immediately via our email with photos of your order for verification and we will get back to you within 6 hours.

What if I have a change of mind after receiving my order? Can I return the order and get a refund?

As we deal with fresh poultry, we apologize that we do not accept any returns of the paid order nor give refunds once the paid order has been received in the system and processed for delivery.
