Chicken breast fillet (Tenderloin) is the smaller, thinner strip of white meat that rests on each side of the breast bone, and attached to the underside of the chicken breast. This is the softest and most tender part of a chicken breast due to their location and usage. There are only two strips of the tenderloin per chicken.
Chicken tenderloins are a good source of protein, low in fat, and having essential nutrients such as vitamin D, calcium, potassium and iron. They are often used in deep fried dishes such as breaded chicken fingers or chicken popcorns, and can also be grilled, stir-fired or cooked in soups and porridge.
Each pack of chicken breast fillet (Tenderloin) weighs about 200g to 250g and contains 4 pieces of tenderloin.
